- Factual: This picture is taken by Vee Speers as part of her 'The Birthday Party' album. Vee Speers was born in Australia and studied at Queensland collage of Art. Her work has been widely exhibited and has been seen in publications including The Sunday Times, Harpers & Queen, Arena, Espuire and Black & White Magazine.
- context: this is part of 'The Birthday Party' series, by Vee Speers.
- technical: i think this picture was taken in a simple white walled studio, with no special effects. i dont think that there are any specific parts that have be lightened or darkened.
- aesthetic: I like this picture because it is a very effective picture, as in it almost moves you, and it portrays this child as a child of war, without covering him in blood ect.although there is not a strong contrast of colours the wahed out dull colours work well in this image.
